Biography

Chester H Fox is a Professor in  Department of Family Medicine at  State University of New York at Buffalo,New York. I am a family physician, which means I provide the full spectrum of primary care for patients, including hospital visits and obstetrical deliveries. My focus is on caring for the underserved and reducing health care disparities. I see patients at UBMD Family Medicine at Jefferson, an urban medical office with a mostly minority patient base. I was the founding physician for the Lighthouse Clinic, a free clinic run by medical students, and I served as faculty advisor and supervisor for 12 years.I am the medical director of the UB Forensic Medical Unit (FMU) for the Family Justice Center of Erie County, a comprehensive support service for domestic violence victims. I also serve on the Family Justice advisory board.
