Amit Nerkar is carrying out his research work at Associate Professor in Medicinal Chemistry, University of Pune, India. He has completed his Ph.D (Pharma Sciences) in the year 2010 from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studiesand and M.Pharm (Medicinal Chemistry) in the year 2005 from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Orissa. He is Computer Aided Drug Designing (CADD) specialist and a substance to create novel molecules technology platforms. He also has visualization of lab processes to commercial scale and a sharp shooter to the technical problems at development. He has through understanding of synthetic chemistry, analytical chemistry as well as medical pharmacology. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
His research interest includes Earlenmeyer-Azlactone synthesis, DPPH, Radical scavenging assay, Ascorbic acid, Drug Designing.
