Dr. Taha Nazir was awarded the Ph.D (Microbiology) degree by the Quid -I-Azam University, Islamabad, Pakistan on April 28, 2010. Whereas; the M. Phil Pharmacology (1999-2000) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (1991-95) were completed in University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and University of the Punjab, Pakistan respectively. Dr. Nazir has more than twenty year’s research, academic and professional experience along with exceptional knowledge of pharmacy, health and cell biology. Moreover, his research interest include the microbial drug resistance, drug designing, formulation, applied cell biology, biotechnology, clinical pharmacy practice, and disease epidemiology. Additionally; Dr. Nazir has worked at miscellaneous academic, research and professional positions of Associated Dean (Pharmacy), Associate Professor, Research Associate, Scientific Executive and Pharmacy Professional at University of Lahore (Islamabad, Pakistan); ICDTD Inc (Canada); University of Sargodha (Pakistan); Drug Store Pharmacy, (Calgary, Canada); Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy (Saskatoon, Canada). Currently, Dr. Nazir is associated with University of Sargodha, Pakistan and ICDTD Inc Saskatoon SK Canada. His major role is to profess the knowledge, manage the scientific information, design the infection prevention strategies, control of mortality of health care workers, and manage the clinical situations to control the infectious diseases. Moreover, he performs a variety of academic role to develop the programs, design curriculum in defined clinical scope of pharmacy, conduct examination; perform professional role in a variety of pharmaceutical scope; and assess clinical part of pharmaceutical science to develop partnerships among academic and practical skills. Dr. Taha Nazir is serving as an editorial member and reviewer of several reputed journals. He has compiled three books entitled Applied Pharmacotherapy; Applied Molecular Cell Biology; Clinical and Pharmaceutical Management of Diseases; and Practical Manual of Pharmacological & Therapeutics. Moreover, he authored twenty seven scientific articles published in reputed journals. He has presided, chaired and participated in so many scientific/ academic/ and professional conferences/ workshops/ training sessions.

My name is Xiaoxin Ye (Ph.D) from Department of Composite Materials Processing, Joining and Welding Institute (JWRI), Osaka University, Japan and Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Tsinghua University, China. My research fields involve the biomedical titanium alloy processing/characterization, surface modification, mechanical/corrosion/biocompatibility property. My research is currently about electropulsing-assisted processing and characterization of titanium alloy. Electropulsing ultrasonic striking and electropulsing-induced topographical oxidation have been also brought in to modify the materials surface for improving the microhardness, corrosion resistance and biocompatibility. My research interests include green materials processing, surface coating, nanomaterials, energy materials and biomaterials.
