Knowledge Management (KM) is a process of development, retrieval, storage and improvement of knowledge and information from various sources within an organization. Knowledge storage for future usage is one of the basic motives behind knowledge management. KM has many useful domains and one of those domains can be its usage in creating effective learning environment in universities. Different batch of students pass every year and during this, they need to go through different academic activities. If managed in a proper way, knowledge from one generation of students can be transferred to another generation of students. This can be performed in many ways and one can be by the creation of web based knowledge-base.
