Abstract

On the oscillation of even order neutral delay differential equations

In this paper, we study the oscillatory behavior of the following even order neutral delay differential equation (r(t)((x(t) + p(t)x(τ (t)))(n−1)) α ) ′ + q(t)x α (τ (t)) = 0, t ≥ t0. We give some sufficient conditions for oscillation of this equation using Riccati transformation technique . The results obtained extend some of the known results. An example is given to illustrate the main results.
