Abstract

On moments of the Cantor and related distributions

We provide several simple recursive formulae for the moment sequence of inÖnite Bernoulli convolution. We relate moments of one inÖnite Bernoulli convolution with others having di§erent but related parameters. We give examples relating Euler numbers to the moments of inÖnite Bernoulli convolutions. One of the examples provides moment interpretation of Pell numbers as well as new identities satisÖed by Pell and Lucas numbers.
