Dear Researcher in the field of Pediatrics,
COVID-19 is a novel coronavirus disease, to date, spreading all over the world.
To date of this brief welcome, 3.017.806 people were infected with COVID-19, and 209.661 deaths were found in 185 countries (John Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, date 27 th april 2020).
This overwhelming death rate makes intensive research activities necessary all over the world. Children seem to have a lower fatality rate but act as a transmitter of the disease.
As the Editor-in Chief of “Advances in Pediatric Research Journal" I like to introduce a special issue titled “Challenges, Risk and Approaches of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19 in Children".
I hope to establish new manuscripts containing new important aspects in research of COVID-19 in children.
