Prof Min has received his PhD in University of Hawaii in 1995. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor in Youngstown State University. His research has included bioinformatics software and database development, genome analysis, and plant physiology. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals including Journal of Bioinformatics & Proteomics, Journal of Data Mining in Genomics & Proteomics, Journal of Integrated Omics, Dataset Papers in Biology, and Computational Molecular Biology. He also serves as a reviewer for more than ten journals. He has published over 40 scientific papers. He developed some widely used software tools and databases such as OrfPredictor, FunSecKB, etc.
(1) Bioinformatics software and database development - software tools for DNA sequence analysis and identification of alternatively spliced genes; knowledge database development for secretomes and alternatively spliced genes; (2) Gene and genome annotation and evolutionary analysis.
