Dr. Hosoda received MD degree and PhD in Internal Medicine from the University of Tokyo. After working as a researcher at the New York Medical College as well as at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, he is establishing his own laboratory as an associate professor at the Tokai University Institute of Innovative Science and Technology, Japan. He has been committed to the research field of regenerative medicine, especially to the myocardial repair by resident stem cells. As a research clinician, his goals are translating the cardiac stem cell therapy toward various cardiovascular disorders.
