Dr. Nikhil Tyagi has received his PhD in the Biochemistry from University of Delhi, India during the period of 2011. During his Ph.D., he worked in the area of nanotechnology with specific focus on targeted drug delivery to cancer cells. Currently, he is working as Postdoctoral scientist in Mitchell Cancer Institute, University of South Alabama, USA. His research interests focused on the various aspects of cancer biology that includes understanding the molecular mechanism of progression and metastasis of cancer cells, development of novel delivery systems for target specific drug delivery, development of novel in vitro cell line model and application of silver nanoparticles for prevention of skin cancer. He is serving as an expert Reviewers for several peer-reviewed international journals like Medicine, Plos One, International Journal of Nanomedicine, OncoTargets and Therapy, Cancer Epidemiology and several journals from OMICS and Frontiers. He has authored more than fifteen research articles. He is a member of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR).
