Mara Carsote

Biography

Mara Carsote, M.D., Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Endocrinology at Department of Endocrinology of C.Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Senior Endocrinologist at Department of Adrenal and Bone Diseases of C.I.Parhon National Institute of Endocrinology, Bucharest, Romania. The main fields of interest are: endocrine tumors (adrenal neoplasia, Cushing’s syndrome, pituitary incidentaloma), and menopause-related bone pathology. She is author and co-author of more than 50 papers in international indexed journals. She received 7 national and international awards (European Calcified Tissue Society Anniversary Travel Grant (2013); The 3th European NeuroEndocrine Association Workshop Travel Grant (2013); “Young researchers in endocrinology” awarded by Romanian Society of Endocrinology (2010). She is currently a member of AACE, ENEA, ENETS, ESE, ECTS.
