Dr. Krishan Kumar has conducted his PhD research at a United Nations Organization i.e. International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi, India during the period of 2004-2009. After finishing his PhD, he joined National Institutes of health (NIH) for his postdoctoral research. Currently, he is working as Associate Research Scientist at The Barnett Institute, Northeastern University. His research has included area like malaria, cancer biology, proteomics and mass spectrometry. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as Research Excellence Award at NIH, John Hatsopoulos scholar award at Barnett Institute. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like PLOS Pathogens & expert Reviewers for journals like Journal of Proteome Research, Analytical Chemistry, Journal of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, Malaria Journal, American Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, etc.. He have authored more than six research articles/books. He is a member of American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), Human Proteome Organization and American Journal of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (AJTMH).
