Dr. Hsiu-Nien Shen is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. He is currently working as an attending physician in Chi Mei Medical Center. His research focuses on clinical epidemiology in critical care. He has received several awards, such as: Travel Awards of the 11th and 14th Congresses of Asian-Pacific Society of Respirology, and Outstanding and Excellent Research Awards during his doctoral training. He has authored 25 research articles. He is a fellow of the Taiwan Society of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
