Prof François-Michel Boisvert received a BSc in Biochemistry in 1998 (Montréal, Canada), an MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2000 (Calgary, Canada) and a PhD in Experimental Medicine in 2005 (McGill University, Montréal, Canada). He conducted postdoctoral training with Professor Angus Lamond at the University of Dundee and is now in the Anatomy and Cell Biology department at the University of Sherbrooke, Canada as an associate professor since September 2011 where his laboratory is studying mechanisms of DNA repair, using a combination of biochemical, quantitative proteomics and fluorescence imaging techniques. He has authored over 40 research articles, reviews and book chapters which have been cited over 3,000 times.
