Dr. Adamu Issaka

Biography

Dr. Adamu Issaka who is a Ghanaian completed his medical education in University of Ankara School of Medicine, Turkey in 2006. After a short term training in Emergency Medicine in University of Hacettepe, he started his Thoracic surgery specialty training in the University of Marmara School of Medicine during the period of 2008 - 2013. He is currently working as a Thoracic surgeon in the University of Marmara School of Medicine Hospital. As a young enthusiastic academician in Thoracic surgery and General medicine, his research goals are to improve research in medicine. Based on this research and training in General medicine and Thoracic surgery he has received several sponsorships in this field and updated his training as required. He is serving as active members in the European Association for Cardiothoracic Surgery, European Society of Thoracic Surgery, European Respirator Society, Turkish Thoracic Society and Turkish Thoracic Surgery Association. He has authored 15 research articles, 2 chapters and translated 2 book chapters.
