Diwaker Tripathi
Postdoctoral Associate Researcher
Washington State University
USA
Dr. Diwaker Tripathi grew up in Lucknow, India. He received his bachelor’s degree in botany and chemistry in 2002 from the University of Lucknow and a master’s degree in biotechnology in 2004 from the Barkatullah University. He received his second master’s degree in biological sciences/biochemistry in 2010 from the East Tennessee State University, TN. He has completed his Ph.D. in Molecular Plant Sciences (MPS) from Washington State University (WSU, Pullman) in 2014. In addition, he studied the molecular mechanism of resistance induced by a commercially available chemical inducer (Actigard), against IYSV. In 2014, He joined as a Postdoctoral Researcher in the department of Plant Pathology, WSU. Currently his research focuses on understanding defense mechanism induced by extracellular ATPs in plants.
