Dr. Yan has received his PhD in Chemistry at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. His current research at the Center for Biomedical Mass Spectrometry, Boston University School of Medicine, focuses on imaging mass spectrometry and neuroscience. His research projects involve the development and application of mass spectrometry in biomedical, environmental, and material sciences. He is a member of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry.
