Professor Arnold von Eckardstein, MD, is currently Professor of Clinical Chemistry at the University of Zurich and Director of the Institute of Clinical Chemistry of the University Hospital of Zurich.

Professor Arnold von Eckardstein research interests include risk factors, biomarkers and pathogenesis of vascular disease; regulation and function of lipoproteins, especially high density lipoproteins (HDL); lipid metabolism and lipidomics.
