Abstract :

Broadly speaking, experts agree, when it comes to health and fitness, knowledge is power. Nowhere is this likely more evident than in the case of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, more commonly known as PCOS, is a serious endocrine disorder that affects more women than breast cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis and lupus combined! PCOS Awareness Association (PCOSAA), a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, was created in 2012, with immense love and sincere concern for women all over the world. Their primary aims are to spread awareness about the disease enough to make women conscious to detecting the signs and symptoms of PCOS, to help women get their blood tests and pelvic ultrasounds done to diagnose and/ or rule out PCOS, and finally to help those women who have already been diagnosed with PCOS. Currently, the organization has a following of 50,000 people globally; however, there are 10,000,000 who suffer from PCOS. At PCOSAA, they strongly believe that the 10,000,000 sufferers of PCOS should not be suffering in silence. Your help is needed to support these women and give them the medical attention they need and deserve. The hope is, that the work at PCOS Medical Conference will eventually lead to the gathering being viewed as the premier meeting concerning PCOS worldwide, helping to facilitate possible breakthroughs on the subject.
