John Torregrosa

Scientific Tracks Abstracts: Rheumatology & Orthopedics

Abstract :

T his lecture discusses a new surgical technique to treat calcaneal fractures. This approach, which now has a 5 year follow up, simplifies the technical component and greatly reduces OR time. It also minimizes and eliminates different typical complications, has distinct benefits, and minimizes damage to the soft tissue envelope. This is accomplished while achieving comparable outcomes to other more commonly used procedures. After discussion of the procedure, multiple cases will be shown demonstrating the reduction possible with this approach
