Abstract :

Heart failure remains one of the fastest-growing cardiovascular disorders worldwide despite significant advances in medical therapy. This presentation reviews recent breakthroughs in pharmacological treatment, including sodium-glucose cotrans-porter-2 (SGLT2) inhibitors, angiotensin receptor-neprilysin inhibitors (ARNIs), mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, and emerging biological therapies that have significantly improved survival and quality of life for patients with heart failure.
The presentation discusses advances in precision medicine, biomarker-guided treatment, remote monitoring technologies, and multidisciplinary heart failure management programs. Recent clinical trials have demonstrated substantial reductions in hospitalization rates and cardiovascular mortality through individualized therapeutic approaches.
Future perspectives include gene therapy, regenerative medicine, artificial intelligence-assisted clinical decision-making, and digital health technologies that promise to further improve long-term outcomes for patients with chronic heart failure.
