Abstract :

The use of proteomic tools in biotherapeutics has a huge potential in biopharmaceutical industry, not only in biotherapeutic characterization, where it is crucial, but as well in supporting process development activities and PK-PD studies. Talk will show examples of the use of proteomic tools, adapted to biotherapeutic industry in order to provide solutions for topics such as absolute quantitation of target protein, isoforms, impurities characterization and its potential in non-clinical and clinical trials by means of a high throughput analytical platform that enable multiplex characterization and quantitation of proteins.

Biography :

Andreu Soldevila completed his PhD in Microbial Biotechnology, BA in Biology and Biotechnology, MSc in Genetics and Microbiology, Environmental Sciences, and Biotechnology. He has 17 years of experience in Biotechnology and Biopharmaceutical Industry. He developed professionally at Inkemia, IPSEN Pharma, 3P Biopharmaceuticals, and currently is CEO of Leanbio, a company that develops and manufactures biological products for Cosmetic and Pharma Industries.
