Abstract :

With the FDA reporting that it had to double the number of warning letters to pharmaceutical companies in 2016, it is clear that quality is being taken for granted by a far too large proportion of businesses. While financial pressures and the need to increase speed-to-market means businesses often overlook quality aspects, this is an important wake-up call to pharmaceutical businesses that often differentiate themselves on the basis of reputation and brand safety. Jennifer Lopez, Director from Maetrics, will discuss how pharmaceutical firms can take a strategic approach to their auditing practices. By creating a more strategic approach to auditing, pharmaceutical companies can reap the benefits of good planning, strong compliance procedures and effective auditing practices that will impact across the entire business. As well as outlining the sticking points and common pitfalls, delegates will have practical guidance on what best practice looks like. jlopez@maetrics.com
