Cleaning validation is one of the important aspects in any production and manufacturing of pharmaceutical product. Cleaning validation helps in ascertain quality of the product and prevent any unwanted events happen to the consumers. Nowadays, with the current expansion of halal market, cleaning validation with some additional requirement according to halal guideline is believed to give a better impact. These combinational knowledge and guidelines not only helps in ensuring quality of a product, but also halal. This review will explain some general ideas on how cleaning validation and halal guidelines can be used in halal pharmaceutical industry.
