The discovery and clinical application of cardiac biomarkers have fundamentally transformed the diagnosis and manage-ment of cardiovascular diseases, particularly acute myocardial infarction and heart failure. This presentation explores recent advances in precision diagnostics, highlighting the role of high-sensitivity cardiac troponins, natriuretic peptides, inflamma-tory biomarkers, and emerging molecular markers in improving the early detection of myocardial injury and cardiovascular risk assessment.
Recent developments in proteomics, metabolomics, and genomic medicine have expanded the range of biomarkers available for identifying subclinical cardiovascular disease before irreversible cardiac damage occurs. Finally, the session will explore future directions in biomarker discovery, multi-omics research, and artificial intelligence-driven diagnostic platforms that are expected to further revolutionize cardiovascular medicine and strengthen preventive cardiology worldwide.
