The thyroid gland, or simply the thyroid, in vertebrate anatomy, is one of the largest endocrine glands and consists of two connected lobes. The thyroid gland is found in the neck, below the thyroid cartilage. The thyroid gland controls how quickly the body uses energy, makes proteins, and controls how sensitive the body is to other hormones. Thyroid nodules are the firm lump in the gland. These may be visible or invisible in the body. These thyroid nodules are cancerous and benign. Cancerous or benign means these are ready to be turn in to tumors and it will be difficult to control. These develop the children to adolescent , and this is because of age, gender, family history, radiation exposure, iodine deficiency, and also some external factors.
