Editorial Note

I am delighted to introduce about the journal Hair Therapy and Transplantation (HTT). HTT provides the solutions of medical and surgical process to minimize the issues facing with hair. Hair is simple in structure but plays important role in human body part, hair is made up of a tough protein called Keratin. The Hair bulb forms the base of the hair follicle. Hair growth occurs in cycles consisting of three phases: Anagen, Catagen, Telogen. Hair grows at different rates in different people, the average rate is around one-half inch per month. Due to internal and external factors of body and depending on surroundings environment there are many issues related to hair like hair fall, hair cortisol, hair shafting, balding, alopecia, alopecia areata, trichilemmal, Apoptosis, Congenital alopecia, Congenital Hypotrichosis, Corticosteroids, Dermatology, Dermatopathology, Female pattern hair loss, Frontal fibrosing alopecia, Hair follicle, Hair loss, Lichen planopilaris, Male pattern baldness, Minoxidil, Mycosis fungoides, Syphilis, Telogen effluvium, Tinea capitis, scalp reduction and many more hair growth problem.

There are many types of Hair Therapies and Hair Transplantation techniques such as FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant), FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), Robotic Hair Restoration, Strip Harvesting, Androgenetic alopecia surgery, Eyebrow transplant surgery, Frontal hair line lowering or reconstruction, Body Hair transplantation, Keratin treatment, Scalp treatment, Hot oil treatment, Hair detox treatment, Laser therapy Radiation therapy, Stem cell therapy, Trichology and Trigger point therapy.

The Objective of Journal Hair Therapy and Transplantation is to publish works, case reports, research findings related to Hair Therapy and Transplantation of high quality which offers not only rapid and time bound reviews but also provides information to medical practitioners, researchers, lab professionals, students, academicians, and industry that is involved in Medical and clinical studies. The Journal plays an important role in the digital advertising of the articles, research papers, etc. to help the authors increase the number of viewers effectively. It also tries its level best to maintain the ethics and publish the work with utmost quality. Through various social networking sites like Face book, Twitter, Linked In, it shares the latest information related to the Journal. The postings are also accompanied with high resolution images to give the readers a better understanding.

I thank all the trichologists, dermatologists and researchers who are fighting their life to treat the pandemic hair diseases and all medical advisors, writers for making the experimental demonstration into a written document. I appreciate all the Editors and reviewers of the Journal who has stepped up and made the journal a success. I hope this support will be continued by all of them and maintain the standard of the Journal.
