Description

A pest is an organism that lives and grows in places like plants and crops and leads to damage and infections to Plants, Humans, animals, and other living creatures, mainly for crops. There are various types of pests that can cause damage, for example of pests on corn. Integrated pest management is the main method that is used to manage pests and the diseases caused by them. Since there are different methods used to control and manage the pests like chemical controls which are mainly used by farmers on their crops and by other people around the home and surroundings. Pest is an organism referred to as a threat to human beings and to their goods.

Management

In an ancient period when early men hunted animals and searched for food, they shared the natural resources with other animals in the community. As human culture developed and the population rise, the demands on resources have been developed. The change in the environment leads to a great increase in the number of species that are now accepted as competitors of humans. These competitors are usually referred to as pests. Natural populations have always restricted organisms that were economically important; locusts, for example, have plagued humans throughout history, and grain from Stone Age locations has been found infected with bunt and ergot diseases. Most species that became pests, however, did so because of environmental modification, occasionally from natural causes but usually from human activities. In order to prevent the pest, we should keep the surroundings clean and neat and do not allow water to stand for a longer period, dispose of the waste and garbage every day, maintain the garden clean and hygienic, keep the net to windows to prevent infections. The best method to prevent the Rodents and the diseases caused by them is by removing the food and other items that provide shelter to the rodents. Seal up the holes present inside and outside the house to prevent the entry of Rodents. There are different methods to manage the pests there are chemical control, cultural control, biological control, physical control. The most common method using to prevent pests is pesticides which help to kill and inhibit the pests and their growth; these are often classified according to the pest they are intended to control.

Conclusion

We can prevent access to food and water by storing the food in containers that are pest-proof and clean up the spills daily. In recent days the best medicines used to kill pests are Deltamethrin, Pyrethrum Extract, Pyrethroid Insecticide, Propoxur, Cyfluthrin, Metaldehyde, Allethrin, and Pyrethrin. There are some Natural pest control methods in agriculture like land preparation, selection of crops, use of certified seeds, using resistant verities, watering the plants, and crop rotation. Pyrethrin and pyrethroids are pesticides used by manufacturers. These are the main active ingredients used in the manufacture of sprays used by manufacturers and spray examinators. This is a most powerful chemical pesticide that can paralyze pests by eliminating pests and kill them later.
