Summary

The Journal of Antivirals & Antiretrovirals (JAA) paves the way to discovery and development of antiviral drugs, compounds, and clinical methods to prevent viral infections. Importantly, JAA provides the opportunity to inform researchers, clinicians, and others working in the field of antiviral drugs and therapies.

Antiviral is an agent that kills a virus or that suppresses its ability to replicate and, hence, inhibits its capability to multiply and reproduce. Antiretroviral denotes to a class of drugs which inhibit the activity of retroviruses such as HIV. The journal mainly focuses on AIDS, Antiretroviral Therapy, Antiretrovirals, Antivirals, Bacteriophages, Clinical Virology, Combination Therapy, Cross Infection Control, Emerging Viral Diseases, H1N1, HIV, Interferons (IFNs), Protease Inhibitors, Retrovirology, Viral Immunity, Viral, Vaccine, Viral Vectors.

2020 Objectives

Due to the journals wide scope and quality in Strict Double Blind Peer Review Process, the Journal is running successfully since 12 years with quarterly issues. For the year 2020 a special issue has been coined by Dr. Anuj Tewari on the trending CoVid-19 titled “Present and Future Perspectives to Combat the Deadly Corona Virus.”

As we are getting several articles for publication we are following certain criteria in accepting them. Not all the articles submitted will get published. In the first step it will undergo Preliminary Quality Checkup, where the article is checked whether it is plagiarized or published anywhere else or suitable for the journal scope. Later the manuscripts are assigned to the Editors and Reviewers to undergo Peer Review Process. Here upon the choice of an author sometimes we undergo Rapid Peer Review Process also. According to the journal policy we undergo double blind policy where we will not reveal the authors and reviewers details to each other.

The Journal of Antivirals & Antiretrovirals follows a progressive Editorial Policy that encourages researchers to submit the original research, reviews and editorial observations as articles, well supported by tables and graphic representation. Also we are available through social media Linkedin, Twitter posting daily updates and easily available to the researchers. In the end we would like to thank our Reviewers for their constant effort and timeless support to our journal.
