Editorial

I am pleased to introduce Journal of Forest Research is the field dealing with coppicing, forest ecology, forest service, water management, plantation and lot more. The goal of the journal is to provide an Open Access platform for researchers to share their expert knowledge in almost all area of forest. I am pleased to announce that, all issues of volume 8 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online during the year of 2019.

The open access journal Forest Research is a scientific journal that includes a wide range of fields in its discipline and reports about the maintainence of forest because the richer the diversity of life, the greater the opportunity for medical discoveries, economic development and adaptive responses to such new challenges as climate change. It publishes all concerned research findings and discoveries pertaining to the ingredients and their mode of therapeutic nature to create a platform for the authors to make their contribution towards the journal.

All published articles of this journal are included in the indexing and abstracting coverage of Agriculture and Biosciences International (CABI), Genamics JournalSeek, ResearchBible, CiteFactor, Electronic Journals Library, RefSeek, Hamdard University, EBSCO A-Z, OCLC- WorldCat, SWB online catalog, Virtual Library of Biology (vifabio) and Publons.

During the calendar year of 2019, JFOR received a total of 8 manuscript, out of which 3 articles (38%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format and peer review process. During 2019 around 5 articles were subjected for publication after they are accepted in the peer review process. In the 3 issues of Volume 8 published during the year 2019, a total of 5 articles were published (at an average of 2 articles per issue) of which, articles were published from authors all around the world. Globally articles have been accessed by the research scientists and also cited.

During the calendar year 2019, a total of two Editors, seven Reviewers joined the board of JFOR and contributed their valuable services towards contribution as well as publication of articles, and their valuable reviewer comments will beneficial to publish quality of article in the Journal.

I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of (Dr. John Langton) during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out issues of JFOR in time. I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of JFOR, the office bearers for their support in bringing out yet another volume of JFOR and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 9 of JFOR in scheduled time.
