Dr. Zibo Li is currently an Assistant Professor of Radiology at the University of Southern California. Dr. Li received a PhD degree in Chemistry from the University of Virginia in 2006. Afterwards, he did his post-doctoral research at the Molecular Imaging Program at Stanford with Dr. Xiaoyuan (Shawn) Chen, after which he joined the Siemens Molecular Imaging and Biomarker Research (MIBR) at Culver City as a Senior Scientist. In 2008, Dr. Li became a faculty in USC.
Dr. Li′s research interests focus on the development of novel tracers (peptides, proteins, growth factors, antibodies, and antibody fragments-based) for near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence, MRI, SPECT, and PET imaging of small animal tumor xenografts and, potentially, of cancer patients. Another area of Dr. Li′s research is in novel radio-labeling method development and nanomedicine.
