Dr. Volodymyr I Lushchak is graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Soviet Union) in 1982. In 1986 he defended PhD and in 2002 D.Sc. dissertations, and in 2004 obtained full professor title. In 1987-1998 he worked in Southern Seas Biology Institute of Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, and in 1998 joined Vassyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University in Ivano-Frankivsk (Ukraine), where currently he is a head of Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology. He also worked at universities and research institutes of Canada, Brazil, United Kingdom, Finland, Poland, Sweden and Germany.
