Stefania Mondello

Biography

Dr. Mondello, M.D., M.P.H., Ph.D.is a trained physician with a sub-specialty in critical care and with extensive experience in clinical neurotrauma, biomarker research and statistical analysis methods, as revealed by the publication history. Dr. Mondello currently has an appointment at University of Messina as Assistant Professor and at University of Florida as Associate Research. Previously she was Director of Clinical Research at Banyan Biomarkers, Inc.

Dr. Mondello’s research, documented in her peer reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and abstracts, is focused on the clinical validation of novel biomarkersof brain injury andhas provided practical insights into how blood-based chemical markers can enhance patient care and outcome. Dr. Mondelloreceived a number of awards nationally and internationally recognizing her contributions to the field and recognized by prestigious Nature Journal.Dr. Mondellohas presented talks at a number of prestigious scientific conferences and been invited to serve on grant review programs.
