Previously he had a post doctoral fellowship in the faculty of Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in the subject Bioinformatics. So far he has published many more research papers in international esteemed journals. Dr. Kumar has awarded as Schrodinger Best Poster Award for scientific poster presentation.
