Dr. Sonu Kumar is a post doctoral fellow in the faculty of The Scripps Research Institute. Previously he had a post doctoral fellowship in the faculty of Sanford Burnham Prebys Medical Discovery Institute in the subject Bioinformatics. So far he has published many more research papers in international esteemed journals. Dr. Kumar has awarded as Schrodinger Best Poster Award for scientific poster presentation.
Dr. Kumar's research interest includes Structural analysis of biomolecular complexes using computational approaches i.e Molecular Modeling, Docking and Dynamics Simulations with an experience of AMBER, AutoDock, MM3 and Modeller, affinity analysis of glycans using glycanarray data, effects of Post-translational modification, data mining and analysis, biological tools and databases development.
