Sevgi Kalkanli Tas is a Professor of Immunology at the University of Health Sciences Turkey. She received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from F?rat University (Turkey). She earned her Ph.D. in Immunology from Dicle University, Turkey, examining the factor V Leiden mutation frequency in patients with deep vein thrombosis. She has published widely in the field as co-author of a book, many articles in leading journals, and conference proceedings. Her published work has covered topics including innate and adaptive immune mechanisms against infectious diseases including COVID-19, H. pylori, HIV, and HBV infection.
