Sam Wong is a Lecturer in Geography in the School of Environmental Sciences at the University of Liverpool, UK.His research countries include China, India, Bangladesh, Ghana and Ecuador. He is currently in the editorial board of Journal of Earth Science & Climatic Change and Energy Science and Technology. He is also a grant review of Research Council of Norway, Portugal’s Foundation for Science and Technology, Natural Environmental Research Council and Nuffield Foundation. He has made numerous publications, including his sole-authored book Exploring Unseen Social Capital in Community Participation (Amsterdam University Press, 2007). He is currently writing a book on renewable energy policies in South Asia for Routledge. He has worked as a consultant for United Nations University and the Development Informatics Group, IDPM at the University of Manchester, UK.
