Prof. Salomon Esquenazi has received his MD in Universidad del Rosario in Colombia during the period of 1979 to 1985. Later he underwent a residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in cornea, refractive surgery and external diseases at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. Currently, he is working as cornea specialist at South Florida Eye Associates and Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and Neuroscience Research in Louisiana State University. He is serving as reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals. He has authored almost 50 research articles/books. He is a member of American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He has honored as chief resident at Clinica Barraquer in Colombia in 1988 and chief resident at Louisiana State University in 2004. Additionally he was distinguished with diploma as best medical student and best intern at Universidad del Rosario in Colombia in 1985.
