Nihar Athreyas

Biography

Dr. Nihar Athreyas is the founding member and CTO of Spero Devices, Inc. He is responsible for research, design and development of product architecture, corporate development and market strategy at Spero Devices. He is also the lead researcher and engineer for multiple DARPA projects. His expertise is in the design and simulation of analog and digital circuits and systems, nanotechnology device modeling and simulation and machine learning algorithms. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India. He completed his master’s and doctorate degrees in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2013 and 2018 respectively. He has published multiple scholarly papers in journals and conferences and holds multiple patents which are being commercialized.
