Mustapha Kandouz recieved Ph.D in Human Genetics Graduate Program, Université de Paris VII, Laboratoire d’Oncologie Moleculaire, 1998. He recieved Master Degree in Molecular Genetics and Physiology of Microorganisms, Université de Paris XI, Institut de Génétique et Microbiologie, Centre Scientifique d’Orsay, 1992. He recieved Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, University of Agadir, Morocco, 1990.
Homeostatic regulation in cancer, with a particular focus on cell death mechanisms. He is specifically investigating how two signaling inputs regulate apoptosis and autophagy: 1) Bioactive lipids and 2) intercellular communication (connexins and ephrins).
