Molinda D Kearns

Concordia College Molinda Kearns received her BS in Biology from D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY, and her MS and Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Pharmaceutical Sciences respectively from the Arnold and Marie Schwartz College of Pharmacy of Long Island University. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Molecular Oncology and Pathology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2011. As of 2012 she is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Biology at Concordia College, NY.
Her research interests revolve around the design and physicochemical characteristics of lipid based carriers of genetic constructs for use as parenteral formulations. She has conducted in-depth work on cholesterol derived genetic carriers and their cell membrane trafficking.
