He is an Member Ophthalmology Commision of the Romanian Ministry of Health, Member Ethics Committee of Emergency Municipal Hospital Timisoara, Member of Ophthalmology Societies and also Board Member of the Romanian Society of Ophthalmology (SRO) , Deutsche Ophthalmologische Gesellschaft (DOG), Societe Francaise d’Ophtalmologie (SFO), European Society of Retina Specialists (EURETINA)
- Scientific ophthalmological activity in more than 50 published papers, 4 books and courses.

- Coordonator of clinical and teaching ophthalmological activities in the vest region of Romania; 2 post-universitary courses, 5 clinical trials (1 as PI).
