Dr. Michael McDonough has post-graduated from University of Toronto and completed his MBBS from Monash University. Currently, he is working as Doctor in Western Hospital. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Convenor in Journal Club, Professional Department of Drug and Alcohol Studies in St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne, General Medical Registrar at Queen Victoria Hospital/Monash Medical Centre, Melbourne, Completed basic physician training requirements (RACP). He was appointed as a member of Management Committee, "The Wicking Project" Wintringham (Alcohol & ABI research project). He has authored more than 20 research articles and attended many conference presentations and posters.
His research interests include Addiction and Quality Use of Medicine, Clinical and Forensic Toxicology in Addiction Medicine.
