Dr. Thornbush has over 15 years of experience working in geography and higher education. She has taught at various levels of physical geography and the environment, with much experience in undergraduate education in North America and the UK. Her preferred pedagogical approach is student-centred, research-focused, and field-based. Dr. ThornbushÕs research interests are in geomorphology, particularly rock weathering and landscape change; air pollution, urban climate and microclimate; climate change and low carbon cities, with an emphasis on applied and cross-disciplinary research.
