I was born into a family of educators and have found that area of my life to be the most fulfilling along with being involved with innovative research in Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. My clinical duties as the Chief of Thoracic imaging include coordinating the clinical care of chest imaging examinations on cancer patients and the supervision of academic staff, resident teaching, and medical student instruction for the Chest Section. The next ten years promise to be important for quantitative lung imaging and I hope to play an important role in translating the newest research methods into clinically useful protocols.
