Luca Giovanella

Biography

Luca Giovanella born in Verbania (Italy) in 1966. He completed his formation (cum laude) at Medical School of University of Pavia in 1991. Subsequently, he obtained the post-graduated Degree in Nuclear Medicine (1995) and Endocrinology (2000) at University of Milan (I) and the Executive Master in Health Organisation and Human Resources Management (2000) at Politecnico Universitario of Milan (I). Consultant at Department of Nuclear Medicine-University Hospital “Fondazione Macchi” of Varese (I) from 1993 to  2002. Since 2003 he’s the Chief of the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Centre at Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland of Bellinzona (Switzerland). Since 2008 he serves as Privat-Dozent (PD) at the Institute of Nuclear Medicine, University of Zürich (Switzerland).
