Dr. Louiza Belkacemi has received her PhD in microbiology from the University of Leeds, UK. Currently, she is working as Research Assistant Professor of Biology and Biochemistry at the University of Houston. Her past and present research interests include human and animal development in health and disease, and cancer therapeutics. She is serving as an editorial member of several journals including Faculty 1000, Biomed Research International: Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Scoped: Journal of Interdisciplinary Histopathology. She is also an expert reviewers for journals such as Journal of Developmental Origins of Health and Disease (DOHAD), Journal of Experimental Research, Journal of Physiology, Journal of Reproductive Biology and Endocrinology, Life Sciences, Molecular Histology, Molecular Reproduction Development, Molecular Histology, Nutritional Neuroscience, PLoS ONE, Steroid Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She have authored more than 30 publications research articles/books.
