Dr. Jun Lin is an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at State University of New York - Downstate Medical Center. He also serves as Attending Physician, Director of Obstetric Anesthesiology and Research Advisor in the Department of Anesthesiology at Downstate Medical Center at Long Island College Hospital. Dr. Lin graduated from Sun Yat-sen University Medical School in 1984 and Graduate School in 1987. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from Mount Sinai School of Medicine of City University of New York in 1997. He has completed his clinical training in anesthesiology at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2000. Dr. Lin is a Diplomate of American Board of Anesthesiology. He has extensive research experience in both basic sciences and clinical studies, including biochemistry and molecular biology of TRH degrading enzyme, pharmacology of anesthetics, physiology of atrial fibrillation and heart failure, clinical airway management and neuroprotection.
