Dr. Jesus Pintor in 1989 was awarded his Ms.C. in Biological Science from the University Complutense of Madrid Spain. In 1993 he received a PhD in Biochemistry & Molecular Biology from the same University. He was Assistant Professor, lecturer in the Biochemistry Department of the School of Optics of the same University, from 1993 up to 2010. Since the year 2001 he became Director of this Department. In 2011 he was promoted to Full Professor. He made three scientific stays in foreign Research Institutions, in University Johann Wolfgan Goethe, Germany 1990, in the Institute Bogomoletz Kiev, Ukraine 1992 and in the University College London, UK 1994. His research activity is focused in the Intraocular Pressure (IOP)-Glaucoma since 1998, new treatments for the Dry-Eye Syndrome, since 2000 and research in Achondroplasia since 2003. He is author in 165 publications in Book Articles and Scientific Journals, owner of 19 patents and participated in 49 research Projects.
Dr. Jesus Pintor research focuses on Intraocular Pressure (IOP)-Glaucoma, Achondroplasia and Dry-Eye Syndrome.
