Biography

Heba Sayed Ahmed Elzahabi was born in Egypt in 1971, She received her B. Sc. in pharmaceutical sciences in 1993 (with a class of Honor Degree) from Cairo University, college of pharmacy and M. Sc. on "Synthesis, characterization and studying the anticonvulsant activity of some novel diphenic acid derivatives" in 1998 from Al-Azhar University, college of pharmacy (Girls Branch). She achieved her PhD study on investigating the anti-inflammatory, analgesic antipyretic of some novel quinoxaline and furoquinoxaline derivatives using the bioisosterism concept. Recently, she is appointed as associate professor at Al-Azhar University, college of pharmacy. As a postdoctoral research, researches was oriented for searching a new anticancer agents and screening many compounds on different cancer cell lines in NCI USA, as well as doing in vitro study against some enzymes believed to play a role in cancer develop. Now she achieve a study in organometallic field interesting in searching the effect of metal chelation on the organic ligand of known therapeutic action, with handling a full thermal analysis of organometallic compounds.
