Prof. Gwan-Su Yi has received his Ph. D. in Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) during the period of 1990-1993 in a field of Structural Biology.Currently, he is working as an associate professor in Department of Bio and Brain Engineering, KAIST. He is also serving as an editorial member of the Journal of Integrated Omics, Computational Biology Journal, International Journal of Systems and Synthetic Biology, Reproductive System & Sexual Disorders, and committee member of reputed conferences like GIW, APBC, DTMBIO, SBMB, and LBM. He has authored dozens of patents and softwares in bioinformatics and systems biology fields, and more than 60 research articles/book chapters in the fields of bioinformatics, systems biology and structural biology.
His main research interests are Bioinformatics, System Biology, Structural Biology, and Synthetic Biology to characterize the functional regulation networks of cell and to design regulatory molecules and circuits engineering cellular functions.
